A HARD WORKER....A GIVING MAN
You don’t find too many people these days willing to give anything but Harley Graves kept on giving. B2B Automotive would like to continue his legacy.
Michelle’s Great Grandfather, Harley Graves, a man who found passion in helping people, started his own business, the Harley Graves Garage, in Macomb, Illinois in 1932. It is from him that she gained interest and knowledge in the auto body industry. It is nearly impossible to express and summarize his generosity and kindness towards people. He was the kind of man who never said “no” to the Salvation Army or turned away a customer because of financial despair. The true extent of his generosity came to light after he passed. Michelle’s grandmother, his loving daughter Shirley, discovered un-cashed checks hidden throughout his belongings from families he knew couldn’t afford to pay but he continued to offer his services.
Michelle would like to continue her memory of him and the passion he had for those in need. Asking for help can be difficult, but knowing that it is there is important. She has therefore set up this tribute fund to assist those who need help simply filling up the gas tank, paying the month’s power bill, providing groceries for their family, assisting with school aid, or whatever it is that they may be struggling with. Her great grandfather was great man. He gave even when he had little to give. B2B Automotive hopes to help those in need passing along his legacy to the people in our community.
